Doris N. Weil is a December 2015 graduate of the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, licensed to practice law in the State of Maryland. Doris joined the Law Offices of E. David Hoskins, LLC as a law clerk in 2014.
During law school Doris was the Executive Articles Editor for the Journal of Race, Religion, Gender and Class, and the Managing Editor for The Authority, an affordable housing digest published through the Housing and Development Law Institute. Doris also served as a Rule 16 Student Attorney in the school’s Appellate Advocacy Clinic.
In 2013, Doris was a law clerk for the U.S. Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations and contributed to the 2014 Senate Report “Offshore Tax Evasion: The Effort to Collect Unpaid Taxes on Billions in Hidden Offshore Accounts.” Also in 2013, Doris was awarded a Maryland Public Interest Law Project grant to work as a housing law clerk at the Baltimore Homeless Persons Representation Project.
Doris is from Illinois and made Baltimore her home in 2012.
